Refund Policy

At Liverpool Dog Grooming Academy CIC, we take pride in delivering high-quality grooming services while prioritising the welfare of every dog. Our refund policy reflects the time, skill, and resources involved in each appointment.


Grooming Appointments

Payment for grooming services is not solely for the finished groom, but for the time, expertise, and care provided by our staff during the appointment. For this reason, we do not offer refunds on grooming services as standard.


Refund Requests

Refunds will only be considered in the event of an obvious error or issue on our part and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any refund request will be assessed using:

  1. CCTV footage
  2. Staff assessments and reports
  3. Photographs taken during and after the groom

This process ensures all decisions are fair, accurate, and based on evidence.


Rectifying Issues

Where a client is unhappy with an aspect of a groom, we will always aim to resolve the issue first, rather than issuing a refund. This may include inviting the dog back in for adjustments or corrections.

Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of the appointment, and where appropriate, we will offer a complimentary follow-up appointment within 7 days of the original groom to rectify the issue.


Behaviour, Coat Condition & Welfare

Please note that outcomes may be affected by a dog’s behaviour, coat condition, matting, or welfare needs. In such cases, refunds will not be issued where decisions were made in the best interest of the dog’s safety and well-being.


Final Decision

All refund decisions are made at the discretion of Liverpool Dog Grooming Academy CIC following a full review. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
